Setting foot abroad

We reached our destination in the wee hour of the morning..it was about 6 am local time and it was winter…the boys did not have their heavy sweater on and it was chilly..both my son were not in their strollers and they were groggy from sleep..

The line at the custom and immigration were quite long since they only open one line…however it ran quite smoothly..although we didn’t appreciate all the dogs sniffing near us and the bag! But we understood the needs..then came the final big question..

The custom officer picked one bag and asked us to describe what’s in it..among all the 3 big + 1 smaller traveling bag, 2 back pack and 1 tennis bag..the custom officer picked up the tennis bag..the question actually froze us in track..she can just pick any of the other bag and I could gladly tell her what is in it and the exact location of everything inside the bag..but the tennis bag was the bag that we stuffed every other things that cannot fit in the other bag, that was the last one packed..and I can’t remember the things we put inside it..nor did hubby…plus hubby was soo worried about a little stain on his tennis shoe…but the question was just a formality..we didn’t do anything wrong..she just pick randomly and check..fuh lega…

A friend of hubby, came to pick us up at the airport..however we still have to take an additional taxi because of all the load hehehe..we stayed a while at their place, they even cooked nasi for us..thanks a million!!..however I was quite tired, and dozed off a few minutes…well u see, I didn’t get a chance to sleep in the flight because my baby boy was fretting even in his sleep…

Then we went to another one of hubby’s friend’s house, where we will spent a few days before we find a place of our own..

8hr flying...

Flying here was the first flying experience for both of the boys..my elder son had been bragging about it since he knew that we are coming..and he actually enjoyed his first plane ride..well, there were lots of foods..attentive stewardess, and the games n movies kept him well occupied..did I mentioned that he is 4 years old?..however, for his kid brother it was a totally different experience, maybe the plane looks so curiously interesting that straight after boarding, he immediately like to start his exploration which include him climbing out of the seat, adjusting the seat back n forth, pressing all the button that is there n screaming his head off when he can’t…and did anyone notice that the seatbelt does not actually suit a child!!..with its expensive fares, MAS should have had proper gadget and tools to suit all type of passenger, not only that they did not prepare that, the stewardess also have the audacity to ask me to shut my baby up, before any of the other passenger complaint..well he’s a 1 and a half year old kid..what do you want me to do..however after 2 hour fidgeting, he finally felt asleep..that is after I had to climb on his seat with him and crooned to his ears…by then I don’t really cares about appearance anymore..lantak korang arrr, I just prayed that we reached our destination safely and FAST before my baby woke up…Maybe some of you are asking where hubby is at all this time..well, hubby is sitting across the aisle…but his attempts in quieting my baby were also futile…

Departing from KLIA

Our departure day was chaotic..there were soooo much things to do, to pack and not enough time n hands…I needed to clean d house, pack some more things, buy a few more…planned a thing or two…what a day…and time flies soooo fast!! But who were at fault if not us ourselves…

Hubby had fly back to fetch us, and had several days to spend in Malaysia..it was supposed to be enough to plan properly, do everything that is needed properly and us departing properly…but those were the precious time…the time to reunite..the time to celebrate…the time to cuti-cuti Malaysia..hehehehe………

We spend several days lounging around KL, a week in our hometown and a quick visit to Bukit Merah Laketown and Taiping Zoo and by the time we came back to KL, it was only 2 days before departing…it was hectic..rasa macam nak patah pinggang kemas umah………

After all have been packed, the result is 3 big travelling bag + 1 smaller one and 2 backpack + hubby’s tennis bag, only then did we realized that we haven’t actually decided who’s going to send us…with just a matter of half an hour b4 checking in…I FREAK OUT…I was already in tears of distress….but parents..being parents, always there when u needed someone…so they decide, we go by their car which is bigger than ours with my dad driving and the rest follow in my car driven by my bro…we arrive at KLIA with ample time to check in the bags..after which we met my in-laws and adjourned to KFC while waiting to depart…why KFC?? Well, it’s the obvious choice u see for those having energetic sons like me hehehehe
